Colombia

My homeland. It offers as many gastronomic experiences as it does cultural ones. Delight yourself with dishes that embrace full flavor and diversity.

I personally recommend:

  • Chuzo desgranado
  • Arepa de Chocoló
  • Cazuela de lentejas
  • Mojarra con patacones, suero y queso costeño

These are the dishes I find myself reminscing over now that I live abroad.

If I had to describe Colombia with a soundtrack. This would be the one:
Spain

My current home. Food here is beyond a need, it is a social token, an excuse to bond over, and a must in every plan out.

I personally recommend:

  • Croquetas de jamón
  • Paella original valenciana
  • Rabo de toro a la cordobesa
  • Chorizo a la sidra
If I had to describe Spain with a soundtrack. This would be the one:
Japan

One of my personal favorite cuisines. I can never get over how varied and tasty each of their dishes are. In fact, I’d say that out of all of the places in this list, this might be the one where their culture is ingrained in their food.

I personally recommend:

  • Okonomiyaki
  • Daifuku Mochi
  • Jingisukan
  • Nigiris/Sashimis
